Sapphire Battersea!

Hi Guys,

This week I'll be talking about 'Sapphire Battersea, which is the second book in the 'Hetty Feathers' series. It is written by Jacqueline Wilson and was published by Yearling on  the 5th of July 2012. 'Sapphire Battersea' is also set in the Victorian as is 'Hetty Feathers' is. But that's because Sapphire is Hetty, but she is a young lady. The basic story is; Hetty has left the foundling hospital with her recently found mother. When looking for work she meets Bertie the butcher boy, who to her delight take her to the funfair. But all is not well for Hetty, and can she cope with the dark trials ahead of her?

I first got 'Sapphire Battersea for my 12th birthday, as I already had the first one and I wanted to read the next one. I really enjoyed it, but it took a little longer to read than 'Hetty Feathers'. This might be because I didn't enjoyed it as much as 'Hetty Feathers'. I can't wait to read "Emerald Star' which is the third book in the 'Hetty Feathers' series. Anyway I would rate it a 7 out of 10 because I did enjoyed it. See you next week!
